Wellness Exams
During each of your visits at the clinic we perform a thorough physical examination of your pet. During the exam we obtain information about your pet’s medical condition and can then recommend a proper treatment or further diagnostics.
Spay & Neuter
At the clinic we perform routine spay and neuter surgeries in cats and dogs. The surgery is performed during the day with a following period of recovery until discharge.

Our clinic provides routine vaccinations and deparasitations as well as puppy and kitten series.
Micro Chipping
The electronic microchip is an ultra small device that is injected under the pets skin. The chip has a unique serial number that is readable using a non intrusive reader. The Rishon LeTzyon Municipal ordinance requires procedure in dogs since 2003. At our clinic we perform chip placement routinely and by doing so make sure your pet can be easily traced should be get lost.
Reproduction
At the Vet-Rishon Clinic we help cat and dog owners who are interested in “matching” their pet find partners, setting the right date for the mating procedure meeting, assist the mating process as well as artificial inseminations and monitoring the pregnancy up to help with the labor as necessary.
Blood tests
In most cases of diseases we can achieve a diagnosis using blood tests which includes blood chemistry and blood count. We perform blood sampling and send to external labs for various blood tests.
Ultrasound
The ultrasound is an imaging device that complements the capabilities of the radiograph. The ultrasound is used to inspect the “insides” of the abdomen and thorax (chest) and allows us inspect the “inside” of the different organs in a non-invasive manner, and plan future surgical procedures in an optimal fasion.
Radiology
Our hospital is equipped with advanced radiology equipment and an automatic developer. Our equipment and expertise provide us with high quality, diagnostic radiographs of giant dog, tiny kittens and even hamsters or small lizards. Radiographs are used for diagnosis of orthopedic conditions, abdominal, thoracic conditions and much more. Our radiology equipment meets all the required safety guidelines for the pets and working personnel.
Dental Care
Teeth and gum disease are among the most common problems in veterinary patients. In our hospital we offer full range of dental treatments including: teeth cleaning, teeth extractions, surgical extractions, oral tumor removal and laser surgery.
Anesthesia
Our clinic offers anesthesia services of the highest level available. Our surgical procedures are performed using gas anesthesia while the patients are intubated. Patients are monitored with pulse oxymeter, respiratory monitor, blood pressure monitor and heart rate monitors. Patients are receiving intravenous fluids during most procedures. We routinely successfully anesthetize patients with heart, kidney or liner conditions.
Soft tissue and orthopedic surgery
Our clinic is equipped with all the required surgical equipment for minor and major surgical procedures. We repair fractures using internal and external fixations with pins and plates. Our doctors are highly experienced in performing abdominal procedures, cruciate ligament repair and more. Every patient receives analgesic indications (pain relief) after surgical procedures – according to the level of pain associated with its procedure.
